Hockey Canada has expressed disappointment with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) ruling that overturned the ban on Russian teams, but it has not announced a boycott or stated that Canada will refuse to participate. Instead, the organization stated that it is seeking clarity on the implications of the ruling for future competitions, including the upcoming world junior men's championship, and remains in contact with the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) to understand how the decision will impact Member National Associations and tournament logistics.
